Financial Forecasting Software

This project is an investment in financial forecasting software that will allow for informed and efficient financial planning. It will add a financial analysis capacity for scenario modeling and longer-term financial plans into the city’s toolbox. Longer term, and with additional investments, this basic financial forecasting capacity could allow us to build in equity review of how and where city resources are invested. Financial forecasting software will help determine if the City will be able to absorb the carrying costs of purchases made with ARPA funds. It will allow for more technical ability to offer transparency options for scenarios and other forecasting needs associated with the budget process and long-term financial planning.
